     In 1936, Pauline Moore published a volume of poetry.  Later, during her years away from acting, she turned her religious devotion toward writing inspirational poetry, short stories, and plays (including "The Seamless Robe" and "Mary's Story").  
     Her first husband was cartoonist Jefferson Machamer, and her second husband was a minister, the Rev. Mr. Watkins.
